  • number of bikes reserved

  • chosen options

  • useful information for organizing the rental
Payment data

Payments are made through a secure provider.

EcoRide Wallonie never retains the complete data of your credit card.

A bank imprint or a deposit may be requested in accordance with the General Terms and Conditions of Sale.

Rental data

In order to ensure the smooth running of the rental and to protect the equipment, EcoRide Wallonie may retain :

  • the equipment inspection report carried out before availability ;
  • the equipment condition validation form ;
  • the equipment return validation form ;
  • the email exchanges related to the reservation ;
  • photographs of the equipment taken before and after the rental when this is
  • necessary.
Technical data

When you browse the website, certain technical data may be collected :
  • IP address ;
  • browser used ;
  • type of device ;
  • connection data ;
  • cookies (see the Cookie Policy).

4. Why is this data collected ?

Personal data is used solely to :

  • manage reservations ;
  • prepare the availability of the mountain bikes ;
  • communicate with customers before and after the rental ;
  • manage payments and deposits ;
  • ensure the follow-up of rentals ;
  • handle any incidents or complaints ;
  • comply with accounting, tax, and legal obligations ;
  • improve the quality of the services offered.
EcoRide Wallonie never sells personal data to third parties.


5. Legal basis for processing

The processing is based in particular on:
  • the execution of the rental contract;
  • compliance with legal obligations;
  • the legitimate interest of Eco Ride Wallonie (management of rentals, protection of equipment, fraud prevention);
  • your consent when required (for example, for a newsletter).

Personal data may only be communicated to persons or service providers strictly necessary for the operation of the service, including:

  • the management software (Odoo);
  • the secure payment provider;
  • the accountant;
  • the website host;
  • the competent authorities when required by law.
These service providers are required to respect the confidentiality of the data.

Data is retained only for the time necessary for the purposes pursued.

Some data may be retained longer to comply with legal, accounting, or tax obligations.

Photographs of the equipment, validation forms, and exchanges related to a rental may be retained for the time necessary to process a potential dispute.
